This is a private billing clinic
Our consultation fees are based on the duration of the consultation, the medical complexity of the consultation, time required to complete tasks and documentation relating to the consultation and also Medicare legislation.
Face to face, telephone and video consultations are all charged at the same rate.
Please note payment is required at the time of consultation. Credit cards (excluding Diners Card and AMEX) and EFTPOS payments are accepted. We are not able to accept cash payment.

Cancellation Fee
As demand for appointments is high, it would be very much appreciated if reception could be notified of a cancellation as soon as possible in order to be able to offer this time to another patient.
A NEW PATIENT initial appointment will be billed a booking deposit of $150. This will be deducted from the full consultation fee at the time of the appointment. However this fee will not be reimbursed if the appointment is cancelled within 24 hours of the consultation as this does not provide enough time for Reception to reuse the time slot.
An existing patient will be billed a $50 cancellation fee if an appointment is cancelled within 12 hours of the consultation time.
Costs for Investigations
Some diagnostic tests will have an out of pocket fee and some tests are not covered by Medicare and will incur a private fee.
Workcover and TAC
Existing patients of Dr Rao who have suffered a Workcover or Tac injury may be seen at this practice.
Consultations will be charged as a private fee and you will be given an invoice for reimbursement through the Insurer.
